 Visa and Residence Permit Procedures

“Students accepted for Erasmus mobility for studies at Bezmialem Vakıf University will receive a Letter of Acceptance issued by the International Relations Office. These students will use this acceptance letter to get a "Student Visa" from the nearest Turkish Embassy/Consulate as soon as possible. This visa is required for entering the country and registration.

 

The Letter of Acceptance will be sent by e-mail to the students accepted.

 

If you enter Turkey with a tourist visa, your application for residence permit to the Turkish Immigration Administration will not be accepted. Therefore, please apply to the Turkish Embassy in your country for a student visa and enter Turkey with that visa rather than a tourist visa.

 

All international students in Turkey regardless of their status, must register and obtain a residence permit (ikamet tezkeresi) from Directorate General of Migration Management within 1 month of entering Turkey.
